1:39 a.m. Someone reported fireworks near Whistler Road and Creekbank Court. Officers found the residents who were shooting the fireworks and ticketed them.

3:32 a.m. Someone reported several broken street lights in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. A report was taken.

3:58 a.m. Officers in the 2400 block of AprÃs Ski Way warned four or five people who were yelling and swearing from a balcony to move inside.

8:04 a.m. A 19-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of speeding, driving under restraint, possessing less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia near Lincoln Avenue and Hilltop Parkway.

8:10 a.m. A woman reported seeing a "group of hippies" camping on the grass next to the Mount Werner Road off-ramp on U.S. Highway 40. Officers gave the campers a warning.

10:38 a.m. A man reportedly returned a book and a knife he had stolen from a restaurant in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive in exchange for his last paycheck.

1:09 p.m. A man reported his gray 1990 Subaru Legacy being stolen from the 2700 block of Abbey Road. The man's car was returned to him around 5 p.m.

1:21 p.m. A woman reportedly lost her cell phone in the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway.

2:32 p.m. Someone was reported to be panhandling in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was given a ticket.

3:08 p.m. A group of people was reported to be panhandling near Lincoln Avenue and Ninth Street. The group was gone when officers arrived.

3:28 p.m. A man found someone walking on his roof in the 1700 block of Kamar Plaza. The man told the person to leave.

4:19 p.m. Someone turned a passport in to the police department.

5:02 p.m. A woman reported finding her bicycle vandalized in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:06 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Lincoln Avenue and Anglers Drive.

6 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. One of the drivers, a 42-year-old Steamboat Springs woman, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.

8:34 p.m. A 23-year-old New Hampshire man and a 27-year-old Pennsylvania man were arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and theft for allegedly stealing vegetables from a market in the 700 block of Yampa Street. Officers contacted the men before they left the store.

9:37 p.m. A 22-year-old South Dakota man was arrested on a fugitive of justice warrant near U.S. Forest Service roads 500 and 505.

10:59 p.m. A 20-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on a failure to appear warrant near Lincoln Avenue and Old Fish Creek Falls Road.
