Steamboat Springs A jury found a Craig man guilty of vehicular assault Friday evening at the conclusion of a two-day trial.
Court documents indicate that a jury found Wesley Rom--ans, 53, guilty of felony vehicular assault, one of the two charges the man is facing after a November car accident that left a family injured.
Romans is scheduled for sentencing on the vehicular assault charge at 1 p.m. Aug. 16.
Romans was arrested in November on suspicion of vehicular assault and aggravated driving after revocation after he collided head-on with a car one mile west of Hayden on U.S. Highway 40. Court documents indicate Roman's license had been revoked at the time of the accident.
Romans stood trial on the aggravated driving under revocation charge in May. That trial ended in mistrial after District Judge Michael O'Hara ruled that one of Deputy District Attorney's Jay Cranmer's witnesses, Colorado State Patrol trooper Kirk Gard--ner, mentioned injuries that were sustained by people riding in the car Romans hit. O'Hara previously had told Cran--mer and Assistant District Attorney Kerry St. James, who was assisting Cranmer, that neither prosecutor could bring up injuries sustained because they were not relevant to the charge of aggravated driving after revocation.
Romans' new trial on the aggravated driving after revocation charge is scheduled to begin July 20.

He pleaded guilty to the charges, both Class 4 felonies, during a Routt County District Court hearing Tuesday.
Murphy was arrested in February on suspicion he and Jared Dean Justice, 24, broke into a Steamboat Springs home and stabbed the home's owner in the hand during a struggle.
Murphy was facing charges of first-degree burglary, aggravated robbery and first-degree assault. In exchange for a plea agreement, the other charges Murphy was facing were dismissed.
As part of the agreement, Murphy will serve his sentences on the two charges concurrently. Murphy could face up to six years in prison when he is sentenced at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23.
Justice has also reached a plea agreement in his case. He is scheduled for sentencing at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5.
