12:03 a.m. Two mini-motorcycle riders were given a verbal warning for riding their bikes near Ninth and Oak streets.
1:39 a.m. A man in the 300 block of Old Fish Creek Falls Road reported a bear eating bird food from a feeder in his backyard. The bear was gone when officers arrived.
7:43 a.m. A man reported seeing flames shooting out from a semi's tires in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said the semi's brakes had overheated and may have caught fire. The fire had died by the time firefighters got there.
10:05 a.m. Someone reported damage to a vehicle in the first block of Maple Street.
10:08 a.m. A woman reported $736 worth of unauthorized credit card purchases that were made in Chicago. A report was taken.
11:51 a.m. A dead skunk was removed from near Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road.
1:01 p.m. Two trucks reportedly clipped mirrors in an alley near Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A report was taken.
1:06 p.m. A restaurant's employee reportedly was smoking in front of the business in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:07 p.m. A man's neighbor in the 300 block of Blue Sage Circle reportedly was screaming at him that his construction was killing trees and that "people who kill trees should be hurt or killed." A report was taken.
2:18 p.m. A panhandler in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive was told not to ask for money.
2:28 p.m. A man in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive reportedly found a border collie named Aspen.
4:23 p.m. Two men reportedly were riding mini-motorcycles on school property in the first block of Maple Street. The men were gone when officers arrived.
4:55 p.m. A man reportedly saw a man walk out of a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive and then stash his cart in some nearby bushes.
5:26 p.m. Someone thought a 17-year-old hostess was serving alcohol at a restaurant in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
6:17 p.m. Someone reportedly saw a bear head for a Dumpster in the 2300 block of AprÃs Ski Way. Officers shot the bear with non-lethal rubber bullets and it ran back into the woods.
6:51 p.m. A 39-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of violating his bail bond conditions in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
7:40 p.m. A man reported someone stealing his briefcase and ID from his car.
7:47 p.m. A 30-year-old woman was taken to the hospital from the 300 block of Ore House Plaza because she was suffering from a seizure.
8:24 p.m. A 39-year-old Hayden man died when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving on Routt County Road 53 in Hayden and was thrown from the car when it rolled.
9:32 p.m. An underage person in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road was given a minor in possession and noise complaint ticket and was then taken to detox.
9:58 p.m. A woman reported smelling noxious fumes in the 2600 block of Copper Ridge Circle. Officers said everything was fine.
