What: Oak Creek Town Board meetingWhen: 7 p.m. ThursdayWhere: Oak Creek Town Hall, 129 Nancy Crawford Blvd.
- Review new Oak Creek restaurant Calamity Jane's application for a liquor license. The restaurant has not been able to serve alcohol since it opened because it did not have a liquor license. If the Town Board approves the application tonight, the application would be forwarded to the state for final approval, Halterman said. If the state approves the application, then the town will grant Calamity Jane's its liquor license.
- Hear from a Nebraska Municipal Power Pool representative regarding the company's recent transaction to buy alternative energy sources. Oak Creek purchases electricity from the company, Halterman said.
- Consider the town's 2005 financial audit. Halterman said the town has filed for an extension to submit the audit and most likely will not be approving it tonight.
