Friday, July 14

2:13 a.m. A man in the 1400 block of Conestoga Court reported a loose dog eating one of his lawn signs. The dog was taken to the shelter.

3:03 a.m. A drunken man in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue reportedly was lying on the ground. Officers checked on the man.

4:28 a.m. Someone reportedly saw a car swerving near Walton Creek Road and Chinook Lane. Officers stopped the car and arrested its 25-year-old Steamboat Springs driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and violating bail bond conditions.

9:01 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Third and Oak streets.

9:49 a.m. A short man with gray hair reportedly was demanding to be let into a hotel room in the 1900 block of Cornice Drive. The man reportedly was telling the room's residents that he was with housekeeping. The man was gone when officers arrived.

12:39 p.m. A man in the 2000 block of Homestead Court reported something stealing some building plans. Police told the man the situation was civil, not criminal.

2:55 p.m. A woman reportedly lost her cell phone in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza.

3:01 p.m. A gas skip worth $54.95 was reported in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:43 p.m. A group of teenagers reportedly was throwing rocks at tubers near the C-Hole. The group was gone when officers arrived.

4:02 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury, hit-and-run accident was reported near Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

4:30 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:33 p.m. A gas skip was reported in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza. A report was taken.

9:30 p.m. A small brush fire was reported in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The fire was put out.

11:25 p.m. A small Dumpster fire was reported in the 700 block of Marketplace Plaza. The fire was put out.
