12:50 a.m. Someone was taken to the hospital from the 700 block of Pitkin Street.
3:28 a.m. A 26-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested at his home on suspicion of failing to notify police of an accident, failing to remain at the scene of an injury accident and failing to report an accident involving a highway fixture. The alleged accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Colorado Highway 131 near Phippsburg.
11:21 a.m. A large truck reportedly cut off a bicyclist near Lincoln Avenue and Elk River Road. A report was taken.
11:41 a.m. An elderly woman in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive called police on her cell phone to tell police that someone was breaking into her home on AprÃs Ski Way. Police later realized the woman was a patient of the hospital, and was not at her home. A nurse took the woman's phone and told her not to make false reports.
1:44 p.m. Several young people reportedly were riding their bikes into the C Hole on the Yampa River. Police said the youth reportedly were diving to the bottom of the river to drag their bikes out, and were told not to do that.
2:30 p.m. A woman in Steamboat Springs was concerned that her boyfriend had gone to the Rainbow family gathering and hadn't returned. The woman told police she hadn't seen him since July 1. A report was taken.
3:04 p.m. A drunken man was taken to detox from the 2900 block of West Acres Drive after he refused to leave his friend's mobile home.
5:06 p.m. A 13-year-old girl was taken to the hospital from the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue because she was suffering from neck pain.
5:09 p.m. A 25-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested for failing to appear in the 2200 block of Village Drive.
5:32 p.m. A woman near Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue reportedly saw someone throw some paper and soda cup lids out of a car.
5:37 p.m. Someone on Village Drive reportedly saw some young people throwing water balloons at cars. Police weren't able to find any youth or any sign of water balloons.
5:47 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Downhill Drive and Lincoln Avenue.
6:42 p.m. Someone reportedly was shocked by an electrical line in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police notified Yampa Valley Electric Association about the wire.
7:53 p.m. A woman was taken to the hospital from the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
10:06 p.m. Officers checked on a woman in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue because a man said he thought the woman was on drugs. The woman was fine.
10:43 p.m. A small Dumpster fire was reported in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive. Police said flames reached about 5 feet high. The fire was put out.
11:09 p.m. Someone was concerned about a group of young people walking up Routt County Road129.
