1:41 a.m. Officers warned a group of people who were camping illegally near Third Street and Lincoln Avenue.
6:30 a.m. A man in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square reported seeing a large group of transients and a dog sleeping under some pine trees. The people were gone when officers arrived.
7:31 a.m. A woman on Spring Creek Trail reported finding a car that had apparently slid down a ditch into a tree. The driver wasn't there when officers arrived, and they called a tow truck.
9:52 a.m. A man in the 1000 block of 13th Street reported someone using his credit card without permission.
10:53 a.m. A group of 20 people near 10th and Yampa streets reportedly were doing their laundry in the Yampa River and hanging their clothes on tree branches, which was causing the branches to break. Officers warned the group.
10:56 a.m. A man reportedly walked up to a car in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue, smashed the window and ran away. A report was taken.
11 a.m. A mountain bike reportedly was stolen in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive.
12:39 a.m. A panhandler was warned to leave a business in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
1:45 p.m. A 22-year-old Oregon man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree trespass because he refused to leave a business in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
2:06 p.m. Construction workers reportedly cut a gas line in the 28000 block of Seedhouse Road in Clark. Police said they turned off the gas line until it could be reported. No injuries or damage were reported.
2:41 p.m. Someone reported a group of people camping in the field by Alpine Plaza. Officers warned the group.
2:56 p.m. A towel and bag of food reportedly was stolen from the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The towel and bag of food were later recovered.
3:05 p.m. A car reportedly hit a deer on U.S. Highway 40 near Steamboat II. No injuries were reported.
4:32 p.m. A 22-year-old Steamboat Springs man in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court.
5:10 p.m. A group of people reportedly was loitering in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The group was given a warning.
5:16 p.m. A woman reported losing a necklace and a cell phone somewhere in Steamboat.
7:32 p.m. A woman reportedly lost a blue wallet in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square.
9:31 p.m. A 42-year-old man in the 2900 block of Village Drive was arrested on suspicion of driving under revocation, driving under the influence of alcohol, weaving, violating his bail bond condition and driving with an open alcoholic beverage.
9:29 p.m. An out-of-state visitor reportedly fell off an off-highway-vehicle in the 46000 block of Routt County Road 129 in Clark. The woman reportedly was riding on the OHV when it rolled. The woman suffered minor leg and head injuries and was taken to the hospital.
10:22 p.m. A man reportedly found a green duffel bag full of clothes in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue.
10:58 p.m. Two men with dreadlocks reportedly were drinking out of an open container of vodka in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
