2:14 a.m. A Steamboat Springs Transit bus driver reported seeing a man dressed in dark clothes lying face down on the ground near Village Drive and Walton Creek Road. Officers and medics were not able to find the man.
8:20 a.m. A woman reported watching someone try to get into her neighbor's house by crawling through a window in the 2200 block of Val d'Isere Circle. Officers checked the house and don't think anyone was trying to break in.
8:32 a.m. A woman in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue reported that someone had broken into her business and stolen several items, including hair products, CDs and credit card information.
9:08 a.m. A motorist reportedly did not pay for $39 of gas in the 2100 block of Mount Werner Road.
9:19 a.m. A man in the 1300 block of 13th Street reported a private business owner plowing snow from his business onto public streets.
9:22 a.m. A theft of money was reported at Steamboat Springs High School.
9:42 a.m. An 8-year-old boy reportedly was crying hysterically and running after a garbage truck in the 500 block of Wyatt Way. The boy later returned home, but his mother called police to report the incident.
10 a.m. A woman in the 59000 block of U.S. Forest Service Road 42 in Clark reported someone damaging her garage doors. The woman said the doors probably were damaged several weeks ago, though she just noticed it. Nothing was taken from the garage.
10:32 a.m. Five dogs reportedly were running around Buena Vista Court, tearing up trash and "using people's yards as restrooms." The dogs' three owners were given citations.
12:35 p.m. Four teenage boys and girls reportedly were throwing snowballs at cars on Lincoln Avenue near Ninth Street. The juveniles were gone when officers arrived.
2:36 p.m. A phone reportedly was stolen at Steamboat Springs High School.
3:03 p.m. Several juveniles reportedly were smoking cigarettes outside of a business in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The juveniles were warned that smoking was not allowed in that area.
4:16 p.m. A snowboard reportedly was stolen from the lower gondola area.
5:20 p.m. A woman reported her son's backpack stolen in the Steamboat area. The woman told officers her son threw his backpack into a snow bank and left it while he ran errands. When he returned, the backpack was gone.
5:59 p.m. A woman in the 1400 block of Athens Plaza reported almost being hit by falling icicles and snow that workers where shoveling off the roof. The woman said the chunks of ice and snow "were the size of people," and the workers weren't looking where the snow was falling. The workers had left the area by the time officers arrived.
6:15 p.m. A 44-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol near the Tread of Pioneers Museum on Seventh Street. Officers said the man reportedly hit a car and then begged the person he hit to not call police because he didn't want to go to jail.
7:14 p.m. A 15-year-old girl reportedly has a seizure in a car near the 300 block of Steamboat Boulevard.
9:13 p.m. A man in the 3400 block of Apres Ski Way reported receiving a harassing phone call from people he called earlier in the night. The man told officers he called the people to ask them to stop yelling and turn down their music. The people reportedly called the man back and left a vulgar message on his answering machine.
