11:43 a.m. A Steamboat Springs man with two outstanding warrants turned himself in to the Routt County Sheriff's Office.
1:16 p.m. A person reported a cell phone stolen in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The phone was valued at $250.
1:56 p.m. Routt County sheriff's deputies stopped to assist a stranded motorist on U.S. Highway 40. The officer discovered the driver had a revoked license and that the driver and passenger had misdemeanor warrants.
2:01 p.m. A theft was reported at Steamboat Springs High School.
2.19 p.m. A Routt County sheriff's deputy pulled over a 37-year-old Hayden man driving a Ford Taurus with expired California plates on U.S. 40 near Heritage Park Pre-School. The officer reported smelling marijuana and finding more than 2 ounces of marijuana, police said. The man produced paperwork saying the drugs were obtained legally for medicinal purposes in California, police said. The man was issued a summons for possession of more than 1 ounce, a misdemeanor.
3:44 p.m. A woman reported her jacket and cell phone stolen in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
4:21 p.m. Police were dispatched to a suicide attempt in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. No one was injured.
4:50 p.m. A Routt County woman reported receiving harassing phone calls.
5:34 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
6:24 p.m. A woman reported a gas skip from a business on Anglers Drive.
