in North Routt found
Routt County Search and Rescue crews were able to find four lost snowmobilers Friday night by talking to the men on a cell phone.
Search and Rescue volunteer Darrel Livingston said one of the men called for help at about 5:30 p.m. after the men had become lost near Firewall, north of Pearl Lake in northern Routt County.
Livingston said all of the men were in their mid-20s and were Routt County residents. The men became lost after they left their snowmobiles and began walking in search of a road.
Liv--------ing--ston said the men became dis----oriented in the wilderness and were weary from hiking through deep snow for more than an hour.
Livingston said the men were doing well when they were found at about 9 p.m. and that one man had minor injuries.
Rescue crews from Steamboat Lake Outfitters and a search crew led by Routt County emergency manager Chuck Vale were searching for the men.
