Richard Boersma: Thanks to plow drivers

It has been a tough season so far for city and county snowplow operators, and we're only a couple of weeks into winter, officially. These guys get a lot of flak for "plowing us in" some mornings. When that means extra time and work for us to clear our driveways and get to work, it can be aggravating.
Recently, I stopped our county plow driver and asked for a little less snow at the top of the driveway while my snowblower was getting repaired. Although this may be against regulations or policy, he's taken this into consideration. Much appreciated. Just another sign that our Yampa Valley friendliness is alive and well.
It prompts me to thank him, as well as all the city and county plow drivers for their reliable 24/7 work.
