Steamboat Springs — On behalf of our entire U.S. Freestyle Ski Team, I would like to extend my thanks to the Steamboat Springs community for its support of our recent U.S. Olympic Team Trials. This was truly an outstanding event with tremendous support from the community in terms of event organization and spectator support.
It is always great to come to Steamboat. The Olympian sendoff ceremony Friday night was great evidence of that. It is always amazing to us to see the great passion you have as a community for providing opportunities for athletes.
A very big thanks to the Steamboat Ski Resort, the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, the hundreds of volunteers and everyone in Steamboat for your support.
Watch us in Torino from Feb. 10 to 26 as our team battles to be best in the world in 2006!
