1:11 a.m. Someone reported a suspicious-looking vehicle in the 800 block of Dougherty Road.
1:28 a.m. An intoxicated woman was given a courtesy ride from the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue to a house on Sharp Street.
7:30 a.m. A woman called police to have an officer check on her son because she had not heard from him for several weeks. The officers contacted the man in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road and told him to call home.
11:39 a.m. A woman in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive reported damage being done to her car.
11:47 a.m. A woman in the 600 block of Pahwintah Street reported someone stealing a pair of sunglasses from her house and then someone stealing her billfold while she was at Yampa Valley Medical Center.
12:03 p.m. A 3-year-old Steamboat Springs boy was buried for several minutes under several feet of snow that fell off a roof at The Lowell Whiteman School. The boy was walking with his family when the snow fell. The boy's mother and Lowell Whiteman faculty immediately began digging the boy out to free his head. The Routt County Sheriff's Office and Search and Rescue members responded to the scene to assist in digging the boy out of the snow pile. The boy was not seriously injured but cut his forehead.
3:06 p.m. A man in the 300 block of Third Street reported seeing a white Ford truck speeding. The truck was gone when officers arrived.
4:19 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
5:11 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on Routt County Road 16 near mile marker 16.
7:53 p.m. A woman in Yampa reported receiving threatening phone calls.
9:21 p.m. Someone driving a newer, blue Dodge pickup reportedly stole $20.18 worth of gas from a gas station in the first block of Anglers Drive.
10:10 p.m. A man in the 900 block of Weiss Drive called police to report a suspicious person walking around a liquor store. Officers contacted the man, and he told the officers he was waiting for a key to lock the store.
10:54 p.m. A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, possessing less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia near Mount Werner and Pine Grove roads.
11:03 p.m. Someone near Soda Creek Elementary School reported seeing several people trying to snowboard off the school's roof onto a sledding hill. Officers said four adults and one juvenile were warned not to trespass on school property and not to snowboard off of roofs. A 21-year-old man in the group was arrested on a fugitive-of-justice warrant.
