9:24 a.m. A Florida woman reported that her purse was stolen at a business in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The woman told police she had about $1,000 in her purse, making the theft a felony. A report was taken.
10:19 a.m. A woman in the 500 block of Parkview Drive reported receiving harassing phone calls from another woman. The woman receiving the calls told police she was having an affair with a married man and suspected that the woman who was calling her was his wife. A report was taken.
10:59 a.m. A Steamboat Springs police officer reportedly slipped on ice at the police department and hurt his knee. The officer was treated for his injuries and likely will not return to work for a few days.
2:11 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Medicine Springs Road and Village Drive. One of the drivers was cited for failing to drive in a designated lane.
4:01 p.m. A woman reported losing her cell phone on Mount Werner.
6:52 p.m. A woman in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive reported a driver passing her in a Ford Explorer while she was stopped at a stop sign and then almost hitting three pedestrians. Officers were not able to find the Ford Explorer.
7:27 p.m. A man on AprÃs Ski Way reported several people throwing snowballs from a condo window. The man told police he could see "a lot of snowballs on the road." Security officers walked through the building but did not find anyone throwing snowballs.
8:06 p.m. A man claiming to be a private investigator reportedly harassed a hotel employee in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road. The man told police he was unsatisfied with the hotel's service. Officers mediated the situation.
9:43 p.m. Three Craig men and two Craig women were arrested on suspicion of robbing a Sleepy Bear Mobile Home Park resident at gunpoint. Officers said two of the Craig men were negotiating a methamphetamine drug deal when the men decided to steal the drugs. One of the trailer's residents was struck in the head with the gun during the robbery and was taken to the hospital for stitches. A Steamboat Springs man who lives in the mobile home was arrested on suspicion of possessing and selling meth.
10:58 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 2000 block of Snow Bowl Plaza.
