Oak Creek's treasurer resigned last week
Karrie Littman resigned from her position as Oak Creek's treasurer last week.
Littman would not comment Tuesday about why she resigned. Her last day is Friday.
Oak Creek Mayor Kathy "Cargo" Rodeman also declined to talk about Littman's resignation.
"As far as I know, she leaving for a job more suited to her talents," Rodeman said.
Volunteers needed to work as gate judges this week
Colorado Mountain College is looking for volunteers to work as gate judges during the U.S. Collegiate Ski Association Western Regional Championships on Friday and Saturday at Steamboat Ski Area. Teams from 19 colleges in seven Western states will compete in the event. Some racers will advance to the national championships in Sugarloaf, Maine, in March.
Event volunteers will be served breakfast and lunch and will receive vouchers for a day of skiing at the Steamboat Ski Area. Call George Thomas at 870-4471.
