Nearly three weeks into the season, and still no news on a potential sale of the Steamboat Ski Area.
On Sunday, the Iacovetto family hosted its third annual Cowboy Christmas and Sledding Party. It was a free community event attended by more than 1,000 people, Luanna Iacovetto said, and included Christmas music, hot chocolate and cookies, snowmobiling tours, sleigh rides and the new tubing hill.
Oak Creek Town Board members said Mayor J. Elliott is a no-nonsense, by-the-books type of leader who can help the town through its budget woes and unite a community divided about the resignation of three-time elected mayor Kathy "Cargo" Rodeman.
