12:23 a.m. A black dog reportedly was chasing an elk on a cross country trail in the 200 block of Golf Course Road.
4:58 a.m. A semitrailer got stuck on Conifer Circle.
5:58 a.m. A broken water main reportedly was "gurgling" in the 1800 block of 13th Street.
9:18 a.m. A man reportedly lost his cell phone in the 1800 block of Christie Drive.
2:49 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 200 block of Sundance Court.
2:59 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
3:12 p.m. A registered sex offender living in Steamboat Springs renewed his annual registration at the police department.
6:03 p.m. Police conducted alcohol compliance checks at 16 Steamboat Springs bars, restaurants and liquor stores. All 16 establishments passed the compliance check. During the compliance checks, a 21-year-old Steamboat Springs man and a 41-year-old Hayden man were arrested on suspicion of felony contributing to the delinquency of a minor after the men allegedly purchased alcohol for an undercover police informant.
7:02 p.m. A woman in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue was upset she received "attitude" from a group of young people she had asked to stop smoking.
10:14 p.m. A 21-year-old Hayden man was arrested near Old Fish Creek Falls Road and Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of driving under revocation and disregarding a stop sign. The man was driving a van that belonged to the 41-year-old Hayden man who had been arrested earlier in the evening on suspicion of buying alcohol for a minor.
11:55 p.m. A loud, drunken person in the 1900 block of Steamboat Boulevard was given a warning for "disturbing the quiet enjoyment" of his neighbor's home.
