3:36 a.m. Police received a report of slashed tires on a sport utility vehicle in the 2600 block of AprÃs Ski Way.

9:55 a.m. Police responded to a report of an open door or window in the 1200 block of 13th Street.

10:17 a.m. Police assisted rescue workers in helping an elderly woman who fell in the 400 block of Seventh Street. The woman was taken to the hospital.

11:09 a.m. A backpack was reported stolen in the 900 block of Merritt Street.

12:25 p.m. Police assisted a person who was injured after falling off a bicycle on East Pine Grove Road. The bicyclist had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

1:29 p.m. The Routt County Sheriff's office received a report of three saddles stolen from a trailer at the Cog in Hayden.

1:34 p.m. A woman reported an identify theft to police. The woman said someone had used her social security number. Police are investigating the report.

5:01 p.m. Police received a report of juveniles on the roof of Soda Creek Elementary School. The juveniles were gone when police arrived.

5:04 p.m. A person reported finding a dog in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:24 p.m. A person reported finding a dog near the intersection of Mount Werner Road and U.S. Highway 40.

6 p.m. Police checked on a highly intoxicated man in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said the man was waiting for his wife to pick him up.

6:48 p.m. Police arrested a man for driving under revocation.

7:06 p.m. A man reported a gas skip from a station in the 900 block of Weiss Drive.

7:18 p.m. Police received reports of smoke coming from the water treatment plant. Police said somebody had lit an old refrigerator on fire in the woods. Firefighters extinguished the fire and the incident is under investigation, police said.

9:42 p.m. Police received a report of a basset hound that had crashed a wedding reception being held at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. Police took the uninvited dog to the animal shelter.
