12:10 a.m. A man reported finding a snowboard on Yampa Street.

12:31 a.m. A Colorado State Patrol trooper asked police officers to contact the driver of a vehicle in the 1700 block of 13th Street that had eluded her Sunday night. Officers went to contact the driver, but no one answered the door.

1:37 a.m. Someone found a snowboard and a pair of boots in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

9:13 a.m. Someone reportedly smashed a mailbox with a baseball bat or other heavy object in the 26000 block of Henderson Park Road in Oak Creek.

12:56 p.m. A woman in the 100 block of Mountain Village Circle reported her car stolen. A report was taken.

1:15 p.m. A 34-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of driving while ability impaired by drugs on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 124.

2:01 p.m. A man reportedly was attacked by a brown and tan snake on a bike trail in the 2700 block of Village Drive. The man told officers the snake attacked him and two dogs. When officers arrived, the snake had disappeared under a snowbank.

2:45 p.m. A 19-year-old California man was arrested on suspicion of theft in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive.

3:33 p.m. A woman in the 26000 block of Routt County Road 52 reported $600 worth of quarters stolen from a large plastic tub in the back of her car. Two 19-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of felony theft after the woman's son told her that he and his two friends stole the money.

3:53 p.m. Someone on Fish Creek Falls Road reportedly saw a skateboarder fall while riding down the road. The skateboarder was gone when officers arrived.

5:43 p.m. A man in the 2700 block of Riverside Drive reported finding one of the windows of his home broken. The man did not know whether anything had been stolen. A report was taken.

7:22 p.m. Someone reported hearing construction noise near Village Drive and Meadow Lane. Officers gave the construction workers a noise citation.

10:39 p.m. A night janitor for Soda Creek Elementary School reportedly scared away someone who was trying to steal his car. The janitor told police he left his car in front of the school with the keys in the ignition. When he left the school, he saw someone starting his car. The janitor said the person jumped out of his car and ran down Laurel Lane. The incident is under investigation.

11:39 p.m. Police officers took a display of wind chimes that was left outside a business in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue to the police department. Officers were worried that the wind chimes would be stolen. The business owner later picked up the wind chimes.
