2:14 a.m. Three teenagers were detained by officers in the 39000 block of Amethyst Drive on suspicion of breaking windows at Soda Creek Elementary School and Strawberry Park Middle School. The teens also allegedly damaged a work truck parked in front of the middle school.
6:43 a.m. A vehicle reportedly hit a deer on U.S. Highway 40 near Yampa Valley Regional Airport. No injuries were reported.
7:39 a.m. A woman reportedly heard five high-pitched screams in the 800 block of Broad Street. The woman thought they might have come from a fox or some other animal. Everything was quiet when officers arrived.
9:10 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident occurred in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court.
11:03 a.m. Someone received a citation for trespassing on private property in the 700 block of Pamela Lane.
12:01 p.m. A woman noticed damage to her car in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue after she came outside from a business. A hit-and-run accident report was taken.
1:12 p.m. A vehicle reportedly hit a deer on U.S. 40 in front of the Hampton Inn. No injuries were reported.
1:30 p.m. A wallet was found near Lincoln Avenue and Downhill Drive.
1:57 p.m. A road bike worth $1,200 reportedly was stolen from the 2600 block of AprÃs Ski Way.
2:17 p.m. A man felt threatened by his neighbor's pit bull in the 400 block of Pine Street. Officers took the dog to the shelter.
4:02 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident occurred in the first block of Maple Street.
5:37 p.m. A vehicle reportedly hit a deer on U.S. 40. No injuries were reported.
8:06 p.m. A 28-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of violating bail bond conditions by drinking alcohol in the area of Sparta Plaza.
9:13 p.m. People reportedly were jumping around and yelling in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage. They were warned.
