Tonight

Opening reception for "The Brilliance Before the Brush: Diego Rivera" will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Depot Art Center, 1001 13th St., in conjunction with the Northwest Colorado Mexican Cultural Festival and Mexican Independence Day celebration. Saturday

Soup Bowl Supper fundraiser for Animal Assistance League has seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Steamboat Springs Community Center next to Bud Werner Memorial Library. Tickets are $18 in advance and are available at All That Jazz, the Depot Art Center and the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter. Tickets are $20 at the door.
