She also is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Gregory of Oak Creek; nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Joanne Kaasch of Aurora; and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father.
The family would like to thank Yampa Valley Medical Associates, especially Dr. Lambert Orton, for taking care of Lora during her illness, and David Bonfiglio for his generosity and understanding.
A funeral service is at 2 p.m. today at the Yampa Valley Funeral Home.
A memorial fund will be set up at the First National Bank of the Rockies in Lora's name to cover funeral and medical costs.
