1:24 a.m. A drunken man reportedly tried to break into a security building in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers contacted the man, and everything was fine.

1:42 a.m. A vehicle hit a deer on Colorado Highway 131 near mile marker 66. The deer was killed, and the car was heavily damaged. No human injuries were reported.

3:52 a.m. A 27-year-old man was arrested on a fugitive-of-justice warrant in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:14 a.m. Fraud was reported in the 100 block of Sixth Street.

9:37 a.m. Two vehicles in the 3100 block of Chinook Lane reportedly were broken into. Nothing was stolen from the vehicles, but several items were disturbed.

10:02 a.m. A business owner in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue reportedly was upset that another business's construction was blocking his or her entrance.

11:15 a.m. A basketball reportedly hit a fire alarm at Hayden Valley Elementary School. The school was evacuated.

11:24 a.m. Two feuding business owners reportedly were arguing about one owner putting stickers on the other's property and banging on the speaker box.

2:09 p.m. A rental van reportedly was stolen in the 2200 block of County Shop Road after the vehicle had not been returned when the lease agreement ended last month.

2:12 p.m. A vehicle reportedly was damaged in the unit block of Maple Street.

3:15 p.m. A 28-year-old man was arrested on a fugitive-of-justice warrant in the 800 block of Yampa Street.

3:43 p.m. A juvenile girl reportedly had a knife and was making threats in the 400 block of Willow Bend in Oak Creek. The situation was mediated.

4 p.m. A motor vehicle accident reportedly occurred on U.S. Highway 40 at mile marker 147. No injuries were reported.

4:04 p.m. A motor vehicle accident reportedly occurred on U.S. 40 at mile marker 152. No injuries were reported.

4:45 p.m. A motor vehicle reportedly occurred on U.S. 40 at mile marker 152. No injuries were reported.

5 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident reportedly occurred near Seventh and Oak streets.

5:28 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident reportedly occurred near Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

5:31 p.m. A woman reportedly was driving and talking on her cell phone near Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue and almost hit a pedestrian. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

6:35 p.m. Two women reportedly were running in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive when they were approached by three men in a truck who told them to get in. The women refused and called police.

7:23 p.m. A small fire was reported under a kitchen floor in the 2600 block of Burgess Creek Road, filling the building with smoke. The structure was evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The fire was extinguished.

8:27 p.m. A sheriff's deputy reportedly was driving on U.S. 40 at mile marker 115 when he hit a rock and blew out a tire.

10:13 p.m. A drunken woman reportedly was sitting hunched over in a ditch along Routt County Road 36. A passerby gave the woman a ride to Colorado Mountain College and then called police. The woman was gone when officers arrived.

10:42 p.m. A man reportedly was trying to cause problems with another man in the 2500 block of Riverside Drive. Officers escorted one of the men from the scene.

10:47 p.m. A man reportedly was concerned that his was wife was not answering her cell phone in the first block of Cedar Court. Officers checked on the woman, and she was fine.
