Nurse association hosts certification workshop
The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is hosting a dynamic two-day certification workshop called WAIT Training that will equip teachers to educate students about healthy life choices, including abstinence from drugs, alcohol, sex and other high-risk behaviors in an exciting and impacting way.
Teachers, coaches, school counselors, nurses or anyone working with youths, who cares about students' character as much as their academic potential, are invited to attend this relationship training certification program.
It will take place on Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Olympian Hall at the Howelsen Hill Lodge, 845 Howelsen Parkway.
Visit www.waittraining.com to register online, or call (720) 488-8888. This event is free to those living in Routt and Moffat counties, so when registering, click on the "scholarship" icon.
