Friday, Nov. 18

1:27 a.m. A woman in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue reported that her jacket, identification and credit cards were stolen from a restaurant.

4:21 a.m. A man and woman in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue were having a verbal argument. Officers mediated the situation.

8:20 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

10:12 a.m. A man driving a truck east on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 129 lost control of his vehicle as he tried to accelerate and pass a semi-truck. The truck he was driving went off the road and down the mountain about 100 feet. Trees stopped the truck and the trailer it was pulling. The man was not injured.

10:46 a.m. A woman in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza reported her backpack, passport, and the title to her car were stolen from her car.

12:03 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.

12:19 p.m. A 40-year-old Craig man reportedly escaped from the Correctional Alternative Placement Services program in Craig on Thursday morning. Moffat County officers asked Steamboat officers to be aware of the escapee. The incident was reported at the probation department in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:40 p.m. A moving truck at Pine Street and Crawford Avenue reportedly got stuck and was blocking traffic.

2:04 p.m. A water tank fell off of a vehicle onto the road near Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. Public works removed the tank.

2:10 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:40 p.m. A high school student in the first block of Maple Street reported her jacket had been stolen from her car.

4:15 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

4:21 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Ski Time Square.

6:44 p.m. A woman in the 1400 block of 13th Street reported she was being harassed. Officers found the claims to be unfounded.

9:49 p.m. People were reported arguing in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
