Marshall named golf clubmaker of year

John Marshall, owner of Fairway & Stream in Steamboat Springs, recently was named 2005-2006 Colorado Clubmaker of the Year by the Golf Clubmakers Association.

The association received hundreds of nominations from around the world for the prestigious award. A panel of several company officials and other golf clubmaking experts selected winners from each U.S. state, Canadian province and European country. Regional finalists were then selected from Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western sections of the United States, as well as Canada, Europe and an international venue that covers all other applicants.

Cantele climbs high in mountain states

Realtor Mitch Cantele of RE/MAX Steamboat recently was honored by RE/MAX International as the fourth-highest-producing agent in the Mountain States Region through September. Cantele finished the year as No. 10 in 2004. The region consists of 4,548 agents in 153 offices, and there are 113,112 agents in the RE/MAX network. Cantele is a member of the RE/MAX Hall Of Fame and the RE/MAX Chairman's Club.

CGR's Jill Limberg becomes broker/owner

Colorado Group Realty has announced that Jill Limberg has become a broker/owner. Limberg began her real estate career in Colorado in 1992, after graduating from Texas A&M University. Before joining the CGR team, Limberg co-owned Steamboat Mountain Properties. She is active in the State Board of Realtors as the vice chairwoman for the Education Board of Trustees and recently completed a master's degree in Real Estate. She also serves as the managing broker for CGR.
