2:05 a.m. Two men in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue reportedly were hiding behind trees and Dumpsters as motorists drove by. The men were gone when officers arrived.

7:55 a.m. Half of a modular home was left in the middle of Willow Island Trail in Oak Creek. Sheriff's deputies determined there was enough space on the roadway for drivers to get by.

7:59 a.m. A fire rescue doll was reported stolen from the West Routt Fire Protection District training facility on Routt County Road 53.

9:22 a.m. A friendly dog with no tags was picked up in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue and taken to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

9:26 a.m. A 45-year-old man was arrested in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue on a contempt of court warrant.

10:16 a.m. A dog reportedly was "pawing his way through a door" in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The resident at the home could not take the dog back to its owner because the

owner has a restraining order against the man. Officers mediated the situation.

12:34 p.m. A cell phone was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

1:43 p.m. Three young men and a dog reportedly were chasing horses near Steamboat Boulevard and Memphis Belle Court. The dog and men were gone when officers arrived, and the horses appeared to be OK.

3:05 p.m. A man reportedly stole something from a business in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man left the store and went home, where store employees contacted him with assistance from his sister, who still was at the store. The man was taken to the police department when he returned to the business.

3:41 p.m. An aggressive dog reportedly wouldn't let a woman cross a bridge near Pahwintah and Ninth streets.

4:15 p.m. A man thought a BB or pellet cracked his passenger-side car window while he was driving in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A report was taken.

9:52 p.m. A 13-year-old boy reportedly was using profanity and being confrontational in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. Officers mediated the situation.
