Jim and Kathy Fader of Steamboat Springs are happy to announce the engagement of their son, Tyler Fader, to Jessica Hollingshead, daughter of Jerry and Judy Hollingshead of Montrose.
The two became engaged March 18. They will marry next year in the Bahamas. A wedding reception will be held in Denver.
Fader is 26 years old. He was born and raised in Steamboat. He is currently working for Digitech Systems Inc. as a Network Engineer. He is taking this season off from professional motorcycle road racing to recover from injuries he received in a crash. Although, he is not racing, he continues to sponsor competitive racers through his business, TF Racing.
Hollingshead, 24, was born in Gunnison and grew up in Montrose. Hollingshead graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor's degree in biology/pre-med. She plans to attend CU Health Science Center starting in May 2006 to continue her education and become a licensed physician assistant. Her hobbies include snowboarding, water skiing, racing and volleyball, which she played at the collegiate level. She currently is coaching a nationally ranked girls volleyball team.
The couple will reside in Denver after their wedding.
