1:06 a.m. A juvenile situation was reported near Mount Werner Circle and Eagleridge Drive. Three people were taken to their homes.

1:41 a.m. A citation was issued to a person driving without insurance and under a suspended license in the Fish Creek Trailer Park.

8:22 a.m. An anonymous person reported a youth boarding a school bus on East Maple Street with a suspicious container. An officer responded to Steamboat Springs High School and found that the container held smokeless gunpowder. The student's parents and school were notified, and the youth was not charged. The incident is under investigation.

8:30 a.m. A person reported trash strewn all over the block and a bear leaving the area near the 1500 block of Redhawk Court.

11:20 a.m. An owner in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza requested a private tow for three vehicles.

11:42 a.m. A resident came into the police station concerned that her phone was being tapped.

12:10 p.m. A person reported a possible burglary in progress in the 2600 block of Acre Lane, where three individuals were trying to access a storage unit. They had permission from the owner.

12:55 p.m. A neighborhood dispute was reported in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road when one neighbor accused the other of trespassing and throwing trash on the property. Officers mediated the situation.

2:13 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Whistler and Walton Creek roads.
