10:33 a.m. A dog was tied up in weeds and barking in the 2400 block of Copper Ridge. Upon further investigation, everything was all right.
12:03 p.m. An outside contractor contacted police after not hearing from an employee since May 4, despite leaving the employee several messages and e-mails. The employee is a man in his late 40s and resides in the 300 block of Cherry Drive. No contact was made.
1:17 p.m. An elderly man needed ambulance assistance after his truck rolled downhill into a ditch in the 2500 block of Downhill Drive. The man lost control of his vehicle after trying to change his oxygen tank while driving. No damage to the vehicle or injuries to the driver were reported.
1:42 p.m. Several contracting vehicles reportedly were blocking roads in West End Village. After contact, the vehicles were moved.
3:02 p.m. An alarm was reported in the 100 block of Hill Street. It was reset with the proper code.
4:50 p.m. An animal shelter citation was served in the 700 block of Critter Court to release a dog to its owner.
4:57 p.m. A car reportedly was damaged at 25 Sunburst Court after it hit a parked car while being towed. An accident report was taken, and no ticket was issued.
6:14 p.m. A 28-year-old female passed out in the locker room at the Steamboat Springs Health and Recreation Center. 8:29 p.m. Two people riding a four-wheeler were reported at Broad Street and Deerfoot Avenue. The riders left when police arrived.
8:37 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 2700 block of Eagleridge Drive. Upon returning home, a person noticed a wallet missing from a purse. A report was taken, and the contents of the wallet are unknown.
9:31 p.m. A mother bear was reported outside a residence in the 3100 block of Aspen Wood Drive. No trash was present, and officers shooed the bear from the area.
