Friday, March 25

7:36 a.m. A woman in the 2900 block of Abbey Road reportedly wanted police to pick up a dog that she no longer wanted. Officers explained that she would have to take the dog to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter, where it possibly would be euthanized. She decided to keep the dog.

8:19 a.m. Three dogs reportedly were running at large in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The dogs' two owners were cited.

8:43 a.m. A vehicle being towed near Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue reportedly rolled off the tow truck and into a building. The car and building sustained minor damage.

2:15 p.m. Two vans reportedly backed into each other near Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries.

2:47 p.m. A broken fence post was reported in the 1200 block of Bob Adams Drive. Police suspect a car hit the post within the past several weeks.

8:17 p.m. Skis were reported stolen at the base of the ski area near the gondola.

8:45 p.m. A one-vehicle rollover accident involving minor injuries was reported at mile marker 152 on U.S. Highway 40. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene.

9:32 p.m. A possible drunken driver was reported near Hilltop Lane and Tamarack Drive. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
