High school looking for officials for lacrosse

Steamboat Springs High School is looking for individuals interested in officiating high school boys lacrosse games. Call Mike Knezevich at 879-1562.

Perry-Mansfield holding open scholarship auditions

Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp will hold open scholarship auditions for local-area youths, ages 10 and older, on Saturday.

Dance auditions are from 9 a.m. to noon at Northwest Ballet, 326 Oak St. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Theater and musical theater auditions are from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Steinberg Pavilion at the Perry-Mansfield campus, 40755 Routt County Road 36. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m.

Dancers will participate in ballet, modern and jazz classes. Theater students should prepare two monologues, each about two minutes in length. Musical theater students should plan to perform two contrasting songs from musical theater literature. Call 879-7125.

Steamboat's Genuine Prom will be held April 6

Steamboat's Genuine Prom is from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. April 6 at the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel. The cost is $30 per ticket.

Deadline for the Steamboat Genuine Prom Hospitality Award nominations is March 30.

The Genuine Prom is designed to honor employees who have worked hard through the winter. The event includes dinner, the hospitality awards and dancing to the Nacho Men. Call Gina at 879-0882, ext. 205, for nomination forms or to reserve tickets.

Volunteers needed for middle school Study Club

Volunteers are needed for Steamboat Springs Middle School's after-school Study Club. The program runs from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Any help is appreciated. Call 879-1058 for information.

Arts council seeking entries for fine art exhibit

The Steamboat Springs Arts Council is seeking entries for SummerArt 2005, a multimedia, juried fine art exhibit, which will be held at the Depot Art Center. The entry deadline is May 13.
