Sunday, March 20

4:49 a.m. An ambulance was called to the 2200 block of Bear Drive for an elderly man who was bleeding from his head after sustaining a fall to the ground. The man was transported to the hospital. His injury wasn't thought to be serious.

6:25 a.m. An employee of a business in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue reported a strong odor of natural gas in front of the building. Gas company officials were called to the scene, and after checking for leaks, they reported no problems.

6:49 a.m. A caller made a complaint about two vehicles that had been parked overnight in the 60 block of Spruce Street.

7:11 a.m. An injured skunk was reported running through the parking lot at Ace at the Curve. The skunk couldn't be located.

9:03 a.m. A resident in the 49000 block of Routt County Road 129 reported that a neighbor had been fishing without permission on his or her property. A report was taken.

12:51 p.m. A Steamboat Ski Area shuttle bus hit a parked car in the Meadows parking lot. No injuries were reported, and a report was taken.

1:25 p.m. A 33-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery after he allegedly tackled, punched and kicked his roommate at the Nordic Lodge. The man left the scene before he eventually was located and arrested by the Steamboat Springs Police Department.

1:39 p.m. A domestic incident was reported. The Routt County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.

1:56 p.m. A purse was reported lost or stolen at Mahogany Ridge Brewery and Grill. A report was taken.

5:43 p.m. The key to a Lexus automobile was found at F.M. Light and Sons.

6:10 p.m. A report was made about a Domino's Pizza delivery driver who allegedly drove through and damaged a yard in the 400 block of Dabney Lane. No arrests or charges resulted from the alleged incident.

11:39 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported on Routt County Road 14, where the responding party called to report a pickup parked in the middle of the road with headlights turned off. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies went to the scene and discovered that the owner of the vehicle was changing a tire.
