Scott Ptach was Mr. Con--sistency last week at the J-4 Junior Olympic Championships.
Ptach finished in the top-10 in four of the five races, which were held in Winter Park on Wednesday through Saturday. His best finish came Saturday when he placed seventh in the second of two slalom races. His only finish outside of the top-10 was a 14th in the giant slalom race Friday.
Ptach also picked up a ninth in the super-G Thursday, a 10th in the other giant slalom Friday and a 10th in the first slalom on Saturday.
He was the top Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club racer in all the events.
Other top Steamboat finishes in Thursday's super-G came from Connor Bernard (28th), Thomas Lyon (29th), Conner Herbison (39th), Brant Crossan (48th) and Jeffery Gay (56th).
Top Steamboat finishers in Friday's first giant slalom included Sam Glaisher (23rd), Crossan (27th), Lyon (31st), Gay (34th), and Herbison (44th).
Results in the second giant slalom included Lyon (22nd), Gay (25th), Glaisher (26th), Crossan (30th) and Herbison (39th).
Top Steamboat skiers in Saturday's first slalom included Lyon (49th), Glaisher (53rd), Gay (70th), Crossan (72nd) and Bernard (77th).
Top finishes in the second slalom Saturday included Herbison (24th), Crossan (29th), Gay (35th), Glaisher (50th) and Bernard (63rd).
The top racer for the week was Stanford Sedberry of Taos. He won the super-G and placed well enough in the other four events to win the overall title.
Aspen's James Britvar topped both giant slalom races and placed second in the overall results while Vail's Cooper Cartmill won both slalom events and placed third.
