McCollum promoted to mortgage loan officer
John McCollum, a Routt County native, has been promoted to mortgage loan officer and will join Holly Rogers at Vectra Bank Colorado's Steamboat Springs branch. McCollum has been with Vectra Bank since 1995 and has expertise in several aspects of the bank, most recently in the role of commercial loan officer. He graduated from Leadership Steamboat in 2002 and is vice president of Ski Town Lions Club and president of South Routt Early Learning Center. Realtor Wither hones Internet sales skills
Pete Wither of Colorado Group Realty recently has completed advanced training in the use of Internet sales tools for real estate professionals.
The National Association of Realtors now offers its members the e-PRO certification course. The program is designed to prepare real estate professionals to make the most of Internet technology and to identify, evaluate and implement new Internet business models.
"The real estate industry has undergone a fundamental change over the past five years," Wither said. "Today, more than 70 percent of all buyers and sellers begin their search online. As an e-PRO certified agent, I have knowledge and tools needed to provide my clients with the information they need and the customer service they demand."
Realtor Gold achieves Chairman's Club
Ken Gold, a broker and own-er with RE/MAX Steamboat again qualified for RE/MAX's prestigious Chairman's Club award. The Chairman's Club is the highest level award for sales production in a single year. Gold and his team of Valerie Lish, Lisa Bickford and Liz Langley, also had the highest sales volume at RE/MAX Steamboat.
