Beurskens new owner of Civil Design Consultants
Doug Bradfield and Jeff Lake, principals of Civil Design Consultants Inc., have announced that Mike Beurskens has become the newest owner in the civil engineering firm. Beurskens has worked as an engineer for 14 years, the past seven years with Civil Design Consultants Inc. Beurskens' prior experience was in the public and private sectors in Iowa and Washington state. He is a registered professional engineer in Colorado. Beurskens has lived in Steamboat Springs for 10 years.
Garrett joins Steamboat Village Brokers Ltd
Steamboat Village Brokers Ltd, has announced the addition of Peggy Garrett to its real estate team. Garrett moved to the Yampa Valley in 1969, leaving for only four years to attend the University of Denver and study abroad in Mexico. After a career in retail, marketing and sales, she taught Spanish for eight years at Colorado Mountain College before starting her real estate career.

RE/MAX Steamboat agents honored
RE/MAX Steamboat and several of its sales associates were honored recently at the RE/MAX Mountain States awards ceremony in Denver. The office was recognized as the No. 1 office in low-density markets in dollar volume and the No. 1 office overall in sales volume per agent.
Stephan Baden was honored as the third highest producing agent in the region, and Mitchel Cantele was honored as 10th highest producing agent in the region. Ken Gold ranked 14th among agents whose production is a team effort. Cantele, a co-owner and associate broker, along with Lisa Bickford and Liz Langley from Gold's team, were present to accept the awards.
