Grant Lamont: Sore Saddle closed

It was a sad day when I heard that the locks were on the doors at Sore Saddle Cyclery. What has happened to this bike store, which in my mind was the benchmark for bike shops in North America?
I hope someone in Steamboat will pick up the torch and get this great shop back in the game.
Now that Kent Eriksen has left Moots and Sore Saddle is closed down, there seems to be a void. If I wasn't up to my eyes in stuff at Whistler I would come down and do it myself.
Kent and Moots, Sore Saddle and Hunter S. Thompson all in a couple of months. These are three of my favorite memories and influences of Colorado.
