Friday, June 24
3:06 a.m. A DUI arrest was made at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
11:01 a.m. Shredded paper was reported flying out of the back end of a trash truck in the 1300 block of 13th Street.
11:32 a.m. A father was arrested on suspicion of violating a restraining order and possessing firearms in the 900 block of Mountain Village Circle. Officers were called after the man and his son were reported having problems, and the man wanted officers to talk to his son.
12:08 p.m. A dog was reported at large in the 500 block of Amethyst Drive and was taken to the animal shelter.
12:49 p.m. A gas skip was reported in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The price of the gas skip is unknown, and a report was taken.
2:28 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. Officers advised management.
6:33 p.m. A road-rage incident was reported when a driver was cut off in the area of Pine Grove Road and then pulled over to confront the other driver. The driver of one vehicle punched the driver of the other vehicle in the face and then left the scene. Officers have information about the driver who punched the person, and the situation is under investigation.
7:11 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant in the Howelsen Hill parking lot after officers recognized him while they were patrolling the free concert.
7:53 p.m. A dog was reported at large in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Oak Street and was taken to the shelter.
