12:15 a.m. A mother and her juvenile son reportedly were arguing on Tamarack Drive. The son was turned over to the Department of Human Services, where criminal mischief charges are pending.

7:10 a.m. A woman reported receiving harassing phone calls at her residence on Abbey Road, and a report was taken.

9:29 a.m. A woman reported receiving harassing phone calls from her neighbor on Pine Grove Road.

10:02 a.m. A barking dog was reported in the 1800 block of Clubhouse Drive, and animal control officers resolved the situation.

10:29 a.m. A wallet was found in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza and was turned in to the police department.

10:30 a.m. A blue mountain bike was found in the Howelsen Hill area and was turned over to the police department.

11:33 a.m. Three motorcycles were reported speeding up and down Burgess Creek Road. The motorcycles were gone when officers arrived.

12:53 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under suspension, having no proof of insurance and driving a car with missing plates in the 1100 block of 13th Street.

2:40 p.m. A purse and an iPod reportedly were stolen from a hotel room in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police have no suspects in the theft but took a report.

3:14 p.m. A lost cell phone was reported in the city.

4:31 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, having no proof of insurance, having no valid operator's license, and following too closely after officers responded to a two-vehicle, noninjury accident in the area of 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

4:53 p.m. A traffic light reportedly was malfunctioning at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Yampa Valley Electric officials fixed the light while officers directed traffic.

9:40 p.m. A fireworks complaint was made in the 2800 block of Alpenglow Way. Individuals were contacted and given a verbal warning.

10:15 p.m. A fireworks complaint was reported in the area of Ski Trail Lane. Individuals were contacted and given a verbal warning.

10:34 p.m. A bear was reported in the 300 block of Locust Court after someone saw it wander into a neighbor's garage. The bear was gone when officers arrived, and several people said they saw the bear leave.

10:38 p.m. A large group of people being loud and using foul language was reported in the 3800 block of Whistler Road. The people were given a verbal warning and were leaving the area when officers arrived.

11:42 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol near Walton Creek Road and Eagle Ridge Drive. The two people with the woman had been drinking, as well, and they were underage and were given minor-in-possession tickets and courtesy rides home.

11:48 p.m. Loud people skateboarding were reported in the 200 block of Fourth Street. The people were gone when officers arrived.
