Forced entry, theft reported at restaurant

An undisclosed amount of money reportedly was taken from an office in The Outlaws Restaurant in Ski Time Square late Friday or early Saturday.
The theft was reported at about 6:30 a.m. Saturday. The lock on the door to the restaurant office reportedly was damaged, and money was missing from a bank bag, Steamboat Springs police Officer Jerry Stabile said.
The restaurant is in the Thunderhead Lodge. The money likely was taken after about 10 p.m. Friday, when the restaurant closed, he said.
The theft is under investigation.
