First National Bank of the Rockies has announced the promotion of Todd Young to bank manager for the Craig office.

Young began working for First National Bank of the Rockies a year ago in the Meeker office as a commercial lender.

"Todd is a natural fit in this position," President and CEO Pete Waller said. "His experience in banking and business management will help FNBR."

Dr. Lalia Rach of New York University will be the featured speaker when the Steamboat Ski Area hosts airline executives and supporters of "Fly Steamboat" at its sixth annual Airline Partners' Summit, to be held from 8 to 11 a.m Wednesday at the Priest Creek Ballroom of the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel.

After a continental breakfast at 8 a.m., Andy Wirth, vice president of marketing for American Skiing Company's Western resorts, will update the audience at 8:30 a.m. about the ongoing expansion of Yampa Valley Regional Airport and new developments at the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp.

Foundation accepts online donations

The Yampa Valley Community Foundation now is able to accept donations online by credit card at www.yvcf.org.

"Online donations have gained in popularity with both donors and organizations, it is a huge benefit to both entities making it easy to give and receive, as well as being secure" Executive Director Linda Haltom said.

The Community Foundation's Web site also allows donors to research each nonprofit organization it represents and make an informed choice. There is a link or an informational page about each nonprofit that houses a fund with the Community Foundation.
