Remarkable town
Steamboat Springs is a remarkable community. We experienced compassion, kindness and support firsthand as we gathered to mourn the death of our loved one, Dave Linner.
Although there is nothing that can take away the pain of Dave's death, we were comforted by the numerous expressions of sympathy throughout the community. Wherever we went, we were surrounded by care and concern. It would be impossible to name all the people who brought food, offered condolences and grieved with us, but we are deeply grateful for each person who has been with us in our pain.
We are extremely grateful to the Yampa Valley Medical Center employees for their endless efforts in supporting us, to Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel for its hospitality, to the Sol Day Spa for its gentle care, to the Steamboat Springs Fire Department for its strong presence, to the Gondola Pub and Grill for food and comfort, and to the Concordia Lutheran Church and the Yampa Valley Funeral Home for helping us create a meaningful memorial service for Dave.
After experiencing the community's warmth, love and sense of family, we are confident that Dave picked the perfect place to start a family. Thank you for making Dave, Laurel and Abby a part of the Steamboat Springs family and for embracing us in our time of deep grief.
