The Hayden and Meeker wrestling teams tied 36-36 in Tuesday's dual in Hayden.
The Cowboys, the defending Class 2A state team champions, brought several of their varsity wrestlers but also brought many junior varsity wrestlers, as well, to Tuesday's meet.
Tiger wrestlers Matt Marchbanks (189 pounds) and David Blair (130) were the only Hayden wrestlers to pick up victories, but Tyler Manzanares (135) won an exhibition match against a wrestler at a different weight class.
Andrew Birch (171), Robert Culver (215), Randy Muhme (heavyweight) and Manzanares received byes. Muhme had hoped to wrestle Meeker heavyweight Steve Rust, the top-ranked 275-pounder in the state, but did not have the chance.
Hayden's next meet is the Lake County Triangular at 6 p.m. Friday.
