Brad Clay Scott

Brad Scott, a 13-year resident of Steamboat Springs, died Dec. 19, 2004, at his home. He was 46.

Brad was born Jan. 25, 1958, to Billy Bryan and Florence Scott in Sweetwater, Texas. He graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1976.

After graduation, Brad worked for 15 years as a lineman for TXU Energy in the Dallas-Fort Worth region before moving to Steamboat in 1991.

Brad loved the mountains of Colorado and his many friends everywhere. He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his older brother, Dusty Glen Scott; and his father, Billy Bryan Scott.

Brad is survived by his mother; his sister, Kelli Zunino; a niece, Jana Arend; a nephew, Cory Arend; and two great-nieces, all of Texas.

A service was held Dec. 23, 2004, in Cleburne, Texas.

A memorial service is from 2 to 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 8, 2005, at the Depot Art Center in Steamboat. All friends and family are encouraged to attend.
