Good named
to dean's list
Steamboat Springs
Steamboat Springs High School graduate Amanda Good was named to the winter dean's list at Fort Lewis College in Durango. Good earned a grade point average of 3.4 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.
Knudsen earns bacelor's in elementary education
Soroco High School graduate Sarah Knudsen earned a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies -- elementary education from Fort Lewis College in Durango during the winter commencement ceremonies Dec. 17, 2004.
Bowden performing with symphonic band
Melissa Bowden of Hayden is performing with the Augustana Symphonic Band during its East Coast tour that concludes Saturday. Bowden is a student at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. The liberal arts school is associated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Miller-Freutal chosen for leadership conference
Steamboat Springs High School student Taylor Miller-Freutel has been selected to participate in the National Student Leadership Conference, where about 8,000 students from across the country and from 45 countries around the world will attend workshops and classes that feature a slate of special guest speakers. The goal of the program is to help students learn to think on their feet, engage in critical analysis and communicate effectively.
