1:30 a.m. A woman in the 1400 block of Blue Sage Drive called police fearing there was an intruder in her home. The woman said she heard a vehicle leaving and a sound like a snowblowing machine. Police investigated and discovered the woman's significant other made the sounds.
5:14 a.m. A vehicle reportedly hit a stop sign at Mount Werner Circle and Mount Werner Road.
6:50 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Huckleberry Lane and Fish Creek Falls Road.
7:01 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Sixth and Yampa streets.
8 a.m. A complaint was made that a driver in a white truck ran the reporting party off the road and into a ditch near Mount Werner and Pine Grove roads.
8:03 a.m. A vehicle reported;y hit a cable box in a hotel parking lot in the 2300 block of AprÃs Ski Way.
8:57 a.m. A vehicle reportedly hit a light pole in the 2900 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
9:08 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near AprÃs Ski Way and Mount Werner Circle.
9:52 a.m. A Steamboat Springs Transit bus driver complained that a tow truck had a cable stretched across 13th Street to pull out a car in a ditch. No one was directing traffic in the area, and the bus hit the cable and was damaged.
10:36 a.m. A vehicle reportedly was in a ditch near Walton Creek Road and Chinook Lane.
10:35 a.m. More than $9,000 in jewelry was reported missing by a patient who had surgery at Yampa Valley Medical Center.
11:43 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
12:07 p.m. An 18-year-old man was having chest pains and not breathing in the 2600 block of Medicine Springs Drive. The boy was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
12:27 p.m. A report was made that a rock was thrown through a sign on Fifth Street and caused extensive damage.
12:37 p.m. A report was made that an object was thrown through an office window in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
12:50 p.m. A sign in front of a building in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue reportedly was damaged. Police suspect it was from a hit-and-run accident.
1:35 p.m. A man pulling a trailer reported that he might have hit a concrete structure at Central Park Plaza.
3:29 p.m. A vehicle reportedly was blocking an entrance in the 2800 block of Village Drive.
4:05 p.m. A snowboard reportedly was stolen in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
4:06 p.m. The police were asked to assist in a case in which a 16-year-old girl refused to return to California with the parent who has custody of her.
6:44 p.m. A pair of Volkl skis reportedly was left outside a gas station in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
9:15 p.m. Loud voices and the smell of marijuana were reported coming from the basement of an apartment building in the 400 block of Pine Street.
