A skier accident at the Steamboat Ski Area sent two people to the hospital Thursday morning.
A 13 year-old boy and a woman in her twenties collided on Ego ski run at about 11:14 a.m. Thursday, and both were sent to the hospital, ski area spokeswoman Heidi Thomsen said.
The ski area reported that the accident is still under investigation by ski patrol and would not release any further information. The accident occurred on the collector run for the Burgess Creek, Four Points and Storm Peak Express lifts.
Initial reports said the woman had facial lacerations and was missing teeth, and one patient was transported by ambulance in serious condition.
