Phyllis Jacquelin Sullivan: 1916-2005

Former Oak Creek resident Phyllis Jacquelin Sullivan died Dec. 29, 2005, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. She was 89.
She was born Jan. 10, 1916, in Oak Creek to James Hughes and Margaret Bateman.
Phyllis moved to Lake Havasu City 11 years ago from Milpitas, Calif. She was a member of the Wild Rose Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her family said she was a very good mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tim Sullivan; and her son, Eugene Sullivan.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Jack E. Sullivan and his wife Marilyn of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; daughter, Cindy Covillo and her husband Wayne of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; brother, Edwin Hughes and his wife Margaret of Sun City, Ariz.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service is at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Oak Creek Cemetery in Oak Creek.
Memorial donations can be made in Phyllis' name to the Cancer Society of Lake Havasu City at P.O. Box 1410, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86504-1410.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
