12:19 a.m. A man in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue reported a suspicious ladder being propped against a building. He also noticed footprints in the snow on the top of the roof. Officers found that someone had used the ladder to put up Christmas lights earlier in the day.
1:18 a.m. A group of people in the 2300 block of AprÃs Ski Way reportedly were pushing and shoving one another. The group was gone when officers arrived.
5:28 a.m. A man reported leaving his driver's license in the 2000 block of Snow Bowl Plaza. The man left his ID at the bowling alley the night before as collateral for a pair of shoes but needed his ID to board a plane.
7:25 a.m. A woman driving a 2001 Toyota Tundra was hit by a train in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue in the Fish Creek Falls mobile-home community. The woman was taken to the hospital for leg and back pains and was released later in the day.
8:05 a.m. A 26-year-old man on Routt County Road 7 in Yampa was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.
8:35 a.m. A woman in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle reported losing her ski pass.
9:02 a.m. A man in the 2500 block of Copper Frontage Road reported an abandoned vehicle on his private property.
9:08 a.m. A man in the 1700 block of Highland Way reported a two-vehicle, noninjury, hit-and-run accident that occurred several days ago.
10:43 a.m. A woman roasting coffee beans in the 200 block of Arthur Street in Oak Creek thought she smelled smoke. Oak Creek firefighters checked the building but could not find anything.
11:55 a.m. Fraud was reported in the 2500 block of Copper Frontage Road.
11:59 a.m. A man reported losing his wedding ring.
1:43 p.m. Sheriff's deputies took children from a residence in the 41000 block of C.R. 36 into custody for social services.
2:04 p.m. A skier in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle reportedly fell and hit his head on the snow. The man was taken to the hospital.
2:06 p.m. A man in the 500 block of Eighth Street was concerned someone had stolen his identity through a credit report. Officers explained the report to the man, and he realized his identity had not been stolen.
2:24 p.m. A woman in the 3000 block of Columbine Drive reported her rental ski equipment missing. Officers found that someone mistakenly took her equipment.
3:33 p.m. Officers helped a woman in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue get into her locked car.
4:33 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
5:30 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the first block of Balsam Court.
6:51 p.m. A man reported losing his cell phone in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.
6:55 p.m. A woman near U.S. Highway 40 and C.R. 129 reported a white Ford truck swerving all over the road. The truck was gone when officers arrived.
7:12 p.m. A man in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive was upset because a towing company reportedly took his car by mistake. The man said he didn't want to come get it because he had been drinking and wanted the company to bring his car back to him so he could drive home. The company said they weren't going to bring his car back if he had been drinking.
8:24 p.m. A loose dog was taken to the shelter.
9:30 p.m. A man on Village Drive reported his van had been pelted with snowballs as he drove by.
10:35 p.m. A man in the 400 block of Yampa Street reported someone had stolen the keys out of his car.
10:48 p.m. Someone in the 1700 block of Shield Drive reported seeing a red flashing light in the parking yard of a business and thought it looked suspicious. Officers checked the area, and everything was fine.
