Man accused of assaulting 15-year-old

A 44-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of touching a 15-year-old girl inappropriately.
Routt County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Dan Kelliher said the man is accused of grabbing the girl Tuesday afternoon while she was working for him at a residential construction site on Routt County Road 14.
The Steamboat girl told her older sister what had happened, and the sister called the Sheriff's Office and made a report, Kelliher said.
Kelliher said deputies went to the man's home and took him into custody without incident.
Kelliher said the girl reported that the man touched her one time.
Although the District Attor--ney's Office has not filed charges against the man, he was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, a Class 4 felony.
The man's bond was set at $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 4.
